United Women of Federated Church

The women of Federated Community Church have been meeting as an association since the formation of the federation between Methodists, Presbyterians, and several other denominations.  They meet for prayer, Bible study, money making projects, and socialization.  Money has always been provided to the church out of the UWFC's funds for special projects and even at times to pay church mortgage payments.  The association originally met as a large group once a month with smaller cirlces meeting once or twice between the large meeting.

Presently, there is only one circle which meets on the second Thursday at 1:30 pm.  The return of the morning circle and formation of new cirlces under the umbrella of UWFC would be most welcome.  The women maintain their own bank account out of which come the funds for the church projects and other local and national mission charities.  Other women's activities in our church which are not strictly under the umbrella of UWFC are the committee for the annual Women's Sunday, Christian Feminist Perpectives, Emmaus women's groups, and PB&J club.  All women of our church are considered to be part of UWFC.  Your participation is most welcome.
