----------TELLING OUR STORY: A LENTEN CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP
February 19th and March 4th from 3:30pm to 5:00pm in Rees Hall

Has there ever been an important event in your faith journey that changed your life? Sometimes these events are subtle and work through us day-by-day. Other times they are like lightening bolts that change our world instantly. Now, have you ever thought about capturing that event in the form of a short story? If you have, here is a workshop for you. Federated Church will offer a creative writing workshop during the Lenten Season for you to explore these transformative experiences and help you write them down.

Here's how it works. We will meet on Sunday, February 19 from 3:30-5:00 pm in Rees Hall to talk about the writing process and begin to develop our stories. Then, after a two week break to craft our stories, we will meet again on Sunday, March 4 from 3:30-5:00 pm to share what we have created and to get encouragement from the other participants. Greg Haynes will be facilitating this workshop. If you would like more information about it, contact Greg by email. This workshop is open to all ages; all you need to bring is a desire to write about and share your own faith journey.
