WORSHIP & MUSIC TEAM
This ministry team of creative people work together to make Federated's worship services and special worship programs (such as the Lenten Soup Suppers) meaningful. The team also oversees the music ministry of the church in conjunction with the choir directors, oversees the training, participation and scheduling of lay persons (lay readers, greeters, ushers, acolytes, communion servers, sound and video techs, etc.) in the worship services. The team has responsibility for décor related to worship at the direction of the Chancel Arts Team, and works with the Pastor in obtaining supply ministers and/or guest speakers.
Pastor Jed Schenck can be reached at (928) 774-7383 ext. 103 or jedschenck@flagstafffederatedchurch.org.The team also oversees greeters and ushers, who welcome worshippers and newcomers/visitors and provide church information as needed, distribute worship bulletins, children's worship packs, and registration pads, count and record the number of worshippers, receive the offering, prepare and serve refreshments between morning worship services each Sunday, prepare and serve communion, clean up the refreshment hour space and kitchen, and lock up after services.
